The Holding platform is the more advanced version of the Holding spot being able to handle more powerful entities within weaker buildings. Even so it is still recommended to build the holding platforms surrounded by the stone walls (granite if possible) to reduce the escape interval of entities, mining a room out of a mountain is a very cheap way to boost. Multiple entities can be contained within the same room at the cost of weakening the containment strength.

Holding platforms are buildings added by the Anomaly DLC that allow for the containment of some entities.

They can be considered the upgraded form of the holding spot.

Acquisition[edit]

Holding platforms can be constructed once the Entity containment research project has been completed. Note that this research requires dark study to unlock. Each requires Steel 40 Steel and 2,000 ticks (33.33 secs) of work modified by the construction speed of the builder.
